Dueling Tips
Duels tip A - HOW:
click/press on the first letter by using your mouse or keyboard; once you click on the letter, it will start to pulse. Try to hit the letter again when the pulse is at its biggest; the bigger the pulse, the more accurate and powerful the spell will be. Then just repeat with the rest of the letters until you complete the spell. When the pulse is at its largest it will be lighter in colour, be be sure to press it when it's almost white.

Duels tip B - PRACTICE:
Practice using the spells available to you in your spell books. You have 4 spell books to choose from however you can only duel using unlocked spells. Practice with your fellow house mates or on your own.
Duels tip C - PRECISION:
You will get a spell's maximum score if you press precisely on the letter and as soon as you see its circle at its biggest
Duels tip D - MEMORIZE:
spell casting usually moves very fast from one letter to the next so it's best to memorize how its supposed to go/look so that you won't panic
Duels tip E - OPPONENTS:
You can either go to your Friends List and click Challenge, go to the Wizards Duel page and click a house for a random opponent or if someone is not your friend you can go to their profile, scroll down and click "wizards duel"
Duels tip F - SCORE:
In order to increase your chances of winning (and get 5 points), your spell casting score should be over 141. If you get anything lower than that, you better pray you have a better score than your opponent. The spell that gives the highest possible score is Full Body-Bind (145).
Duels tip G - NOTIFICATIONS:
just like in potions, you also get notifications with duels so always check your notification page because there might be someone who wants to duel with you
Duels tip H - POINTS:
5 points is given to the winner of a duel and if you lose you don't get any points. If you duel with a fellow Gryff or you get a draw you get 0 points
Duel tip I - POTENCY:
Every spell has a different maximum score. Check the duel book pages for specifics. At the moment, Full Body-Bind has the highest potency.
